Terms & Conditions – Chalet Timberwolf
1. Introduction & Acceptance of Agreement
Welcome to Chalet Timberwolf. By accessing our direct booking platform, making a reservation, or staying at our property (CITQ permit #299012), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before completing any reservation.
2. Reservations, Payments & Security Deposits
Booking Confirmation: Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment as outlined during the checkout process.
Payment Processing: All major credit cards are accepted and securely processed via Stripe. Chalet Timberwolf does not store your full credit card information on our servers.
Damage Responsibility: Guests are liable for any damage to the property, furnishings, or amenities caused during their stay. We reserve the right to charge the payment card on file for any repairs, excessive cleaning, or missing inventory required post-checkout.
3. Cancellation Policy
Flexible Tier: Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the check-in date will receive a full refund minus applicable processing fees.
Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to check-in will receive a 50% refund.
Non-Refundable: Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to check-in are non-refundable.
4. House Rules, Occupancy & Local Compliance
Maximum Capacity: Guest occupancy must not exceed the maximum capacity permitted under our municipal and CITQ regulations. Unauthorized extra guests are strictly prohibited.
Peace & Quiet Regulations: Located in Mont-Blanc, Quebec, our chalet is subject to local municipal bylaws regarding noise. Quiet hours must be strictly observed, and parties or events are strictly forbidden.
Smoking Policy: Chalet Timberwolf is a strictly non-smoking property indoors. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
Pets: Pets are only allowed if explicitly agreed upon during booking and subject to prior approval and pet fees.
5. Check-in & Check-out Procedures
Check-in Time: Standard check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Early check-ins must be requested in advance and are subject to availability.
Check-out Time: Standard check-out is by 11:00 AM. Unauthorized late check-outs may result in additional hourly or daily fees charged to the card on file.
6. Force Majeure & Utility Interruptions
Chalet Timberwolf is not liable for events beyond our control (force majeure), including severe winter weather storms in the Laurentians, power outages, road closures, or public utility disruptions. No refunds will be issued for disruptions caused by weather or acts of nature that are outside our direct operational control.
7. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions, and any disputes arising out of or related to them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
